Happy Home Housewares is a kitchen and gift store and long time fixture on the bustling stretch of Coney Island avenue between Avenue J and Avenue K. It is the sister business of CKCA, it’s proprietors Elka and Baruch Pinson cofounded the school with Director Jesse Blonder in the summer of 2007. Happy Home is well known for its wide array of tools, gadgets, bakeware and cookware. They also carry glassware, crystal, flatware, tabletop and cutlery. Students enrolled in one of CKCA’s professional training programs receive a 10% discount in Happy Home at all times. Those who attend recreational classes with us receive a 10% discount on the day of class.
Great Kosher Restaurants International is the international authority on kosher dining. The glossy 256-page coffee table book highlights over 200 top kosher restaurants from around the world with over 400 stunning color photos, menus and descriptions. Passover and Recipe sections as well as informative articles from culinary experts are also featured. Elan Kornblum, The president and publisher of Great Kosher Restaurants International has become the unofficial ambassador of kosher restaurants and kosher dining worldwide.
Kolatin, real kosher gelatin is a 100% glatt kosher, pareve powdered gelatin that can be used to make many exciting confections and desserts. Since it is bovine derived, Kolatin is stronger and stable than the fish or vegetable derived gelatins that the kosher consumer was limited to in the past. CKCA is proud to use Kolatin at the school in a variety of sweet and savory applications.
Sub Zero and Wolf are brands that no need no formal introduction. Everyone knows they manufacture the gold standard for residential appliances, refrigeration and cooking respectively.
